Gorilla walking safaris is typically a safari that will require walking up the dense forest of Bwindi impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park to see gorillas in there national habitat for. It like walking to visit them in their house or home.

Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Just like Bwindi, Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is a home to mountain gorillas of Uganda. Here gorillas are shared with the DRC and Rwanda. The mountain gorillas live in the Virunga ranges; these are a series of mountains that are shared between Uganda, Rwanda and DRC.

However, this forest in Uganda has a mixed felling of primates. You can get to see a number of primates including Columbus monkeys and red-tailed monkeys, amongst others. With over 300 bird species to see as you walk through the forest.

This park also has amazing walking safari adventure in the mountain. It is like mountain climbing and you can as well do the finish to the top and enjoy the beautiful views and lakes up there. The family here is one of Nyakagezi.

It’s a great way to appreciate the smaller wildlife, which can’t be so easily seen from a vehicle, as well as to experience the buzz of being out with the big game.
